Movin March: Healthier Lifestyles & Environments

Wrapping Up Movin’ March: Active Travel and Sustainability

At McKenzie & Co we believe in the power of movement and the positive impact of mindful commutes on our well-being and productivity. We ran a month long challenge for March, which included our very own Strava club, where team members logged their activity across the month to meet weekly challenges. We already knew our team were a bunch of active people, but they blew us away – with over 2,600kms travelled collectively by the 46 challenge participants.  That’s 1.6 times the length of New Zealand!

We’re excited to share the highlights in these photos and celebrate our impressive team who took part. This challenge contributed to healthier lifestyles and environments, but what was most amazing were the stunning photos captured by the team.

A Month of Movement

Movin’ March encouraged our team to swap car rides for active modes of transport. We also launched our new 50% off subsidy for all Auckland Transport.

The goal was to make daily commutes more enjoyable, improve fitness, and reduce our carbon footprint. Our offices across the country embraced the initiative, with some incredible journey’s to work – even cycling 30km!
