The great city of Auckland’s south – Auranga – has been at the heart of the McKenzie & Co. business since our inception six years ago.
This master-planned project located in Drury, carefully curates 170Ha of prime greenfield land in the foothills of the Bombay’s. With provisions for upwards of 3000 lots, zoned for standalone homes, duplexes, terraces and apartments over a number of stages.
To cater to this growing neighbourhood there are 17Ha of landscaped reserves including 6kms of cycle and walkways. There’s even a fitness course and a dog agility course.
With the imminent arrival of Auranga’s first residents, we want to take this moment to congratulate the man with the vision and the team who have delivered the dream – Charles Ma and his team at MADE.

From a contract perspective, we’ve been involved in the design and delivery of many parts of this development through our expert engineering, surveying and professional services. We’ve led the design and construction of the new bulk transmission water and wastewater mains that will eventually service not only Auranga, but the entire south western future urban zone (that’s 30,000+ new homes).
To be honest, we’re very proud of that. Thanks Charles and MADE for making this a reality for us. It’s been the contract of a life time.
